Wonders Around The World (WAW) is a 100% volunteer-run charitable organization whose mission is to make skateboarding accessible worldwide through the value of “Inclusion, expression, and development through empowerment”.

WAW has traveled the world with a crew of volunteers, building skateparks and making skateboarding more accessible since its very start in 2017. The WAW crew of volunteers has been in Lagos, Nigeria, working on quite the expansive DIY-built skatepark that will soon have concrete laid on it. Check out the progress the hard-working volunteers and local community members have been pouting in on the skatepark:

“By developing these public and free spaces, we wish to empower and provide our local partners with the continuous support needed for them to form their own organizations, and independently and successfully manage the facilities, offering the best outcome and defining the statement ‘It’s their park’.” The organization states.
