People throw out the words “iconic” and “legendary” pretty damn willy-nilly these days… Hell I’m probably guilty of it too when referencing my niche interests that nobody else gives a shit about.

But when scrawling out a list of iconic skate videos, it’s hard to not have Blind’s Video Days near the top.

An early directorial effort by a then 21-year old Spike Jonze, the 1991 classic checks all the boxes. Its got street skating that was way ahead of it’s time, an all-star lineup, underage drinking hijinx, and a skit involving a car that made all the kids watching at the time think the video ended in some sort of fucked up suicide pact. I mean really, can it get much better?

As one could imagine, a large part of the video’s notoriety comes from the car crash at the end of the video, so it got us thinking…

Could we somehow find the infamous car from Video Days nearly 35 years later?

With the craze of these Geo-Guesser folks rising on the interweb recently, we figured why not try to enlist one of these sleuths to help us go after the dusty wreckage.
